ACAT Luxembourg (Action by Christians for the Abolition of Torture) is an ecumenical non-governmental organisation founded in 1985. Independent of churches and political parties, its mission is to fight against the death penalty, to support victims of torture and to ensure respect for human rights both internationally and in Luxembourg , particularly with regard to refugees and prisoners.
